Summer Newsletter 2023

Welcome to the 2023 Summer Newsletter

How has your year been? Are you amazed November is here? Have you had some fun? Have you learned new things? Enjoyed Nature? Had a few challenges?

When we take time to reflect on the past year or even few weeks it can be interesting to note all that has happened – the good and the challenging. Even the challenging in my experience can be “good” if I pay attention to the lessons learned. Not always easy, sometimes confronting, yet with some inner guidance I can find peace within such times.

Some of the tools in challenging/stressful or tense time which I use are these:

  1. Pause, be still and as I breathe in I think of the word: Serenity (so I am breathing in Serenity which can be defined as the state, quality, or condition of being serene with clearness; calmness; quietness; stillness; peace of the mind which then can flow into the body.
  2. Breathe out all tensions, concerns, and worries. Just let go….

It may take a few cycles so be patient with yourself and this practice…yes, it is a practice. 🙂

Another very effective way of handling conflict or stressful situation including our own stressful thoughts  is the beautiful Hawaiian Prayer: Ho’oponopono.

How Does Ho’oponopono Work?

“One of the most important things to achieve in life, is to free yourself from everything that is not Love, from everything that is not You. This means freeing yourself from problems, anger, hatred, frustration, sadness, illness, jealousy, intolerance, … these things are not you.
These are old poisonous memories hiding in your subconscious.
Ho’oponopono is a process that frees the Self from this burden, but also allows it to become again what it was, a reflection of Love and Light.
When we accept that we are the total sum of all our past thoughts, feelings, words and deeds, that our present life and decision making is coloured by memories from the past, we begin to see how the Ho’oponopono technique can change our whole life.
It removes the negative effects of thoughts, words, emotions, and deeds from previous incarnations and from current life, cleansing us spiritually, mentally, and physically through a process of repentance, forgiveness, and transmutation. ”

The Ho’oponopono Mantra consists of 4 simple steps or phrases which brings in love for ourselves, the other and the Divine in all which is included:

Step 1: I Love You
Step 2: I’m Sorry
Step 3: Please Forgive Me
Step 4: Thank You
