Kerstine Pattison Uhlemann

Kerstine Pattison Uhlemann, founder of Awakening Birth
Kerstine is a pregnancy and birth mentor, artist and craftswoman, an advocate for women birthing in freedom and power, and a mother of three based in the Adelaide Hills.
Drawing on her own three home birth experiences and years of journeying with women’s work, she brings a rich, heart-led depth to holding women’s circles, blessingway ceremonies and intimate spaces for mothers. She creates gentle, grounded spaces where women feel safe, seen and deeply supported. As an artist, creatrix and craftswoman, she weaves her love of beauty and symbolism into every offering. Devoted to walking alongside pregnant women as they move toward a powerful, freedom‑filled birth, she believes every woman deserves a positive, supported and deeply empowering birth experience with a smooth transition into motherhood. Her work honours physiological birth, personal choice and each family’s unique story, and lovingly supports women to remember their inner wisdom and deep knowing so they can cross the threshold into motherhood feeling powerful, loved and held.
