The Farm for Wellbeing

Summer Newsletter 2025

Summer Greetings from The Farm

Well, it is kind of Summer, we are getting glimpses! Last year we had berries, this year it is slow but what is abundant are the roses and colour in the garden! It is lush! The smell is so beautiful to inhale…fills me up!

What does Summer mean to you? For us it is some down time to rest in the sun, go to the beach, 🤞fingers crossed as the algae is still a problem in SA – so sad. Also to have family home. We so look forward to this. A few years ago, I began to call Christmas “Lovemas” as a way to highlight that it means different things to different people. Love is what brings meaning to the festive season to me. I honour others’ beliefs, but this resonates with me.

You will see that we are doing Summer Solstice a little different this year. Lily & Emily are hosting their event here. Lovely to have the richness of the farm fabric continue to be woven! The CommUnity grows!!

We will take a break after Solstice until mid-January and look forward to meeting you here in 2026, perhaps at one of the amazing Fringe shows or another event!

Go well and may you have some rest as well in this social time that is coming.

We also send you Summer Solstice Blessings of radiant love, gentle peacefulness and heartwarming joy!

From our heart to yours,

Joan and Urs
